How this system works
Sludge is dried in a closed low-temperature loop so the water leaves as condensate rather than as vapour through a stack. That keeps the odour and the dust inside the machine and avoids the smell and the permit problems of a hot-air drum.
The heat pump module supplies the heat, the belt or the box chamber carries the solids, and the condensate is drained separately. Moisture removal and installed power are the figures below; the belt width, the module count and the dewatering front end are quoted against the daily wet-sludge tonnage and its dry solids content.
Enclosed drying design
- Enclosed dehumidifying drying with zero exhaust emissions
- Full smart automation with simple operation and maintenance
- Options: spray system, pulse self-cleaning, dustproof sludge hopper, anti-collision feed hopper
- Low power consumption across the drying cycle
- Dried sludge at 10-30 % moisture feeds co-combustion, gasification, composting or building materials
- Moisture removal
- 36 kg/h
- Max power
- 28 kW
- Weight
- 2,200 kg
Built for installation
- The machine is built as a skid, so it is set down and connected rather than assembled on site.
- Cake discharge and condensate drain are laid out with the site, because both set how the unit is run.
- The heat pump is packaged on the skid, so the drying air path stays closed between the coil and the material.
- Control cabinet and service points are on one face, clear of the discharge end.
